Bristol and Kent based
Personal Summary
I am an aspiring illustrator currently studying at UWE Bristol. I draw and play drums in my spare time, I have plans to pursue these avenues further in the future. I have always been active participating in sports such as basketball to a regional level playing in countries such as Copenhagen, Portugal, France and Spain. I have also enjoyed skateboarding; I believe these activities have benefitted me by helping me problem solve and communicate, not just in a professional way but socially. A good example of this is through my work within the hospitality industry and customer interaction. I am looking to join a solid team and apply my skills in the workplace. I can work around twenty-five to thirty hours whilst studying however am looking for full time employment commencing beginning of May 25
Skills
. Some of my skills include a creative eye allowing me to make good aesthetic reads on design.
. A strong work ethic instilled from the years working towards sporting and musical goals.
. Empathic and critical thinking further helps aid in my problem solving and communication within a team.
. I am a skilled analog and digital artist.
. I am bar trained with waiting and supervisor experience.
. I have been trained musically in drumming and classically in cello to grade 7.
. I have learnt software’s such as photoshop and illustrator. In addition, I am familiar with booking systems and company ordering within hospitality duties
Education
I have a foundation diploma in Art.And am currently studying for a degree in Illustration.
Experience
Bear Lodge Port Lyme Zoo
Bear lodge is a glamping site at a zoo in Lympne. My duty whilst employed here was as a pot wash and prepping desert dishes for the restaurant. It was imperative to be fast in this employment due to the high pace in the kitchen environment.
Strange Cargo Arts company
I started volunteering for strange cargo, a community arts company, I had to re paint walls to prepare for exhibitions and be creative helping assist making outfits and props for an upcoming festival.
Lakota
My job role at Lakota was working on the bar alongside a big team ensuring drinks were being served at a high pace in the venue’s busy environment. This alongside some other bar jobs of a similar nature have solidified being able to handle pressure in high pace scenarios.
Quay Street Diner
Whilst working at Quay Street my role was as a supervisor; I would run bookings work both on the floor and the bar. I had to be organized and have good time management to ensure I work to my best making me good on a team. In this role I had to communicate with management and employees, and this required organizational skills. In addition, the communication skills I acquired I have proven myself as a trustworthy employee with key holding and cash-up responsibilities.
Hen And Chicken
Whilst at the hen and chicken I worked on the bar primarily, sometimes having to run the bar upstairs alone for events.
The Langton
During my employment at Langton, I worked at the bar and ran food to tables. I improved upon my customer service and confidence, through communicating with locals who were consistent customers.
PHARMADYNAMICS
My role whilst working for Pharma dynamics was in the warehouse scanning barcodes on medicine packaging and then completing specific bulk orders for countries such as Ghana, Nigeria, and Malta.
SUBWAY
When working at subway I had to complete a sandwich artistry training course to be able to deal with the food I also had to have training on how to handle money and use the tills this helped me build my ability to follow instruction and pick up new skills quickly.
